The east coast must be a great place to run a moving van company.

I'd like to think the 25% chicken tax , the gas guzzler tax exemption for light trucks, and C.A.F.E. all helped make this possible to an extent. Good ol' government intervention...'er I mean, free markets!

I guarantee if you counted the GMC/Chevy as one truck, that the numbers would change dramatically.

I'm a curmudgeon, I still don't like trucks and never will.

People keep pointing to the chicken tax, but they forget that there were many smaller trucks available just 3 short years ago. The Ranger, Dakota, Colorado, Canyon all were being produced until 2011-2012. The "chicken tax" would have absolutely no effect on the top sellers.

I'd just like it to be known that I'm not from Oklahoma; I just live here (and I don't own an Altima).

There's nothing to be afraid of, but the fear itself. :P
